In turn, the predominance of fuel over the air mixture in the engine combustion chamber leads to increased ignition temperature of the working substance. This creates a risk of explosion and increases the volume of nitrogen oxides.
Why do drivers wish to get rid of their EGR module?
The service life of the original EGR module is short. In different car models, it can correspond to 70-150 thousand kilometers. But, if your vehicle is used in poor road conditions, this figure can be even lower.
The main reasons for EGR removal:
- high cost of repairing this module;
- the valve is rather difficult to clean;
- due to incorrect operation of the EGR, violation of circulation can cause subsequent engine breakdowns;
- car engine is able to function after deleting EGR valve.
Moreover, if you use low-quality fuel, you will need to clean this device from carbon deposits at least 1-2 times a year. Therefore, EGR removal is the best solution.
